Alberta Self-Employed Farmer Stream

Last updated: September 30, 2019

The Self-Employed Farmer Stream of Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) is an investment stream for farm managers. You must be ready to invest at least CA$500,000 in a farming business in Alberta. The minimum investment amount may vary on a case by case basis, meaning Alberta might require more, but not less. Moreover, you need to submit a business plan regarding this investment. If your business plan helps Alberta’s agri-food targets, you will be better off.
